On your mobile device, open the Galaxy Wearable app. Here’s how to use SmartThings Find to locate your missing Galaxy Buds: However, this is only compatible with Buds+, Buds Live, and Buds Pro. This allows the app to find the earbuds more accurately and offer more features than the ‘Find My Earbuds’ feature on the Galaxy Wearable App. Unlike the Find My Earbuds feature, the SmartThings Find feature uses both the IR sensor and GPS to locate the Buds. This might, in turn, affect the Buds’ beeping sound and even the automatic mute function, among others. 
If the buds are amongst things such as debris or other foreign substances, they may block the IR sensor. The Find My Earbuds feature locates the Galaxy Buds through an infrared (IR) sensor.
